This site is an independent public-records tool operated by a Troy, Michigan resident. It is not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by the Troy School District. Contact: akarpo@gmail.com.
No account is needed and we set no cookies. The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps standard, short-lived operational logs (IP address, request path) to serve and protect the site; we run no analytics of our own.
You provide a name, an email address, a mobile phone number, and a sentence about why you
want access. These exist solely so the site owner can decide whether to approve your access and
to prevent abuse. There are no passwords: signing in sends a short-lived one-time code to your
registered number by SMS (via Twilio), and the code is stored only as a hash until it expires.
Your number is never used for marketing and never shared beyond the services listed below. After
sign-in, a single HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in — it does no
tracking.
Questions you submit are stored with your account, together with their answers and processing metadata (timestamps, token counts). Questions are reviewed by the site owner, who may approve or decline them; when SMS moderation is enabled, the question text is relayed to the owner's phone via Twilio. Approved questions are processed by Anthropic's Claude models to generate the answer from the public archive.
Your information is never sold and never shared beyond these processors.
The documents, summaries, and meeting transcripts on this site derive from public records published by the Troy School District Board of Education. Names appearing in those materials are part of the public record; they are not information collected from site visitors. Concerns about the underlying records belong with the district; concerns about this site's presentation of them are welcome at the email above.
Account and question data are kept while the Q&A service operates. Email akarpo@gmail.com to see, correct, or delete your data, or simply to close your account; deletion removes your registration, sessions, and questions.
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
If you give a mobile number and tick the consent box when registering, we may send you one-time sign-in codes by text — only when you ask to sign in, typically two to four messages a month. We never send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them (codes then go to your email instead), or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not a condition of registration or approval. Your number and the date you consented are recorded so we can show that you agreed.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. The only third party that sees your number is Twilio, which delivers the message on our behalf and may not use it for anything else.
